About Daisuke “Ike” Yuki     

Daisuke “Ike” Yuki is a partner of Nozomi Sogo Attorneys at Law, a medium-sized law firm based in Tokyo. He passed Japan’s bar exam in 1995 and was admitted to the bar in Japan in 1998 as well as the New York bar in 2012. Ike is a certified fraud examiner (CFE) and a board member of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Japan (ACFE Japan). Ike has been the Asia Representative of IBA’s Anti-Corruption Committee since 2019.
Nozomi Sogo is a full service law firm, and one of its focuses is compliance, internal investigations and white collar criminal defenses. Nozomi Sogo has a substantial number of lawyers who have experience of working at governmental authorities, including former public prosecutors in the special investigation departments, the Financial Services Agency, Bank of Japan (the central bank of Japan), the Japan Fair Trade Commission, and the Consumers Affairs Agency. Ike was also seconded to Bank of Japan for two years from 2000 through 2002.

Ike is the head of the international practice wing of Nozomi Sogo, and established Nozomi Los Angeles Office in 2018 in California, U.S.A. Ike is focusing on compliance, whistleblower matters, white collar defense as well as entertainment and food & beverage practices. He also leads the Korea practice team.

Ike graduated from University of Tokyo Faculty of Law (LL.B.) in 1996 as well as University of Southern California Gould School of Law (LL.M.) in 2010. He also finished the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan in 1998.

Ike is a native Japanese speaker, and fluent in English and Korean.
